animal I'd like to be

Mmmh It's hard choose one animal or a species because there are a thousands and thousands on earth and all of them are special and interesting. Sometimes, I watch documentaries of nature on Netflix, and I always learn and I get new information about species of animals. I don't call myself an "animal lover" but I respect their lives and I wish that all of them can live happy and free (no more zoo!).

If I have to choose an animal that I'd like to be, I'd choose birds, specifically migratory birds. Why? 

 Birds can fly, there is an accion that humans can't do by themselves. Migratory birds fly a lot and they can cross the world flying and that is a difficult trip because is a very long journey and not all birds survive. But why do they migrate? distance and reasons change according to each species. But the real reason is because  birds are nomadic and they are adapting to the earth constantly. Their own needs (food, temperature, etc) disappear with the change of seansons, so they move to other continents. 

I saw in a documentary that in the past, there existed a lot of nomadic tribes that moved searching for foods and another needs. But when they started to become sedentary they discovered the sense of propiety and territory and they began to believe that the earth had to change for them and not the other way around. So with the stability, they had a lot of free time, and they started to pay attetion to other things like hobbies and they stopped learning about their habitat. They started to think that they were the center of the world and the most important species. Now, if you want to migrate, you need money, passport. Sometimes you have to give reasons for your journey to the "territory" and if  they consider they are valid; you can travel and they give you a definite period of time to stay in that "territory". 

Maybe we lost ours freedom with sedentary lifestyle ...
